LOCATION
We are located in southern California, USA, on the south end of Huntington State Beach at Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) and Brookhurst Street, 92646. Banzai is about two and a half miles south of the HB pier, and just north of the Newport Beach river jetties. From the 405 Freeway, you can take the I-55, Beach Blvd, or the Brookhurst exit west 4 miles to Huntington Beach. For our hotel guests, we recommend a scenic ride down the bike path (saves $15 parking too!). Surf Camp parents can drop off at the turnaround area at Brookhurst.
Inside the Brookhurst entrance, go past the café/restrooms and look for the Banzai truck (or the cars with Banzai signs) in the parking lot. You should find the Banzai tent out on the beach between lifeguard towers 2 and 3.
Brookhurst entrance closed? It happens (off-season, budget cuts, etc). Just enter the park further north at Magnolia St., and drive south thru the parking lot.
Parking is $15 per day, cash only, and a pass can be purchased for $125 that gets you into parks statewide for a year. There are firepits, showers, restrooms, and lifeguards. Call ahead if you need help: (714) 499-3315.
